Earthcare

In good Franciscan tradition, when we speak of caring for the Earth we include all its creatures, including humanity. Yes, we will be sharing on "greening" perspectives, but also on issues of peace and justice that are part of so many Earth concerns today. St. Francis of Assisi spoke of all aspects of creation as our "brothers and sisters", those we treat with reverence and respect, insuring their ability to thrive through our efforts at sustainable living. Yes, that's everything and everyone! Imagine how different life on Earth might be if we all tried taking on a little more of Francis' attitude.
